Salary Range: $230,000-$250,000 USD OTE
Location: Remote (Seattle or Portland)

We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Sales team and drive new-logo growth, selling enterprise solutions to independent insurance agencies and partnering with Solution Consultants to turn prospects into long-term customers.

 

What You’ll Do

• Hunt for new logos: prospect, cold call, open doors, set appointments, and close sales of our SaaS and cloud solutions to independent insurance agencies with 10–199 users
• Dedicate 100% of your time to selling enterprise business solutions to new accounts, engaging prospects with a consultative approach
• Partner with our Solution Consultants to build business plans that show how Applied products help clients reach their goals more efficiently
• Follow up promptly on leads from our Business Development Group
• Work with sales team and management to identify new target areas and opportunities
• Represent Applied at industry events and tradeshows, and maintain customer relationships after the sale to grow your referral base

  

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience
• Self-starter who is disciplined, creative, and independent
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office in Seattle or Portland, with travel of up to 50% within your assigned territory
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience

Bonus points if you also have:

• SaaS or B2B technology solution sales, or business development experience
• Formal solution sales training
• Salesforce or other CRM experience

Compensation Transparency

Our targeted starting total cash compensation in the United States for this position ranges includes base salary and on-target performance-based variable commissions. Actual earnings are uncapped, and many team members exceed on-target amounts by surpassing their sales goals. We consider depth and breadth of experience, skills, and responsibilities when determining starting pay.
