The Role

Rochford Supply is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing business customers. You’ll be the person customers call first: helping them find the right materials, following opportunities from first conversation through purchase, and becoming a trusted resource for their everyday needs.

This is an active sales role. You’ll reach out to customers, uncover opportunities, and earn a bigger share of their business, while making it easy to buy from us.

Rochford Supply provides marine, upholstery, and outdoor fabrication materials to businesses across the country. Our proprietary brands include eTek outdoor textiles, Modality upholstery vinyl, CushionCraft foam, ExtremeGrip adhesives, PowerSnap tools and fasteners, and AquaTop marine products.

What You’ll Do

• Own and grow your portfolio. Retain customers and increase sales by understanding what each business needs and where we can serve it better.
• Reach out proactively. Make daily calls and send targeted follow-ups to drive reorders, reconnect with inactive customers, and introduce relevant products.
• Turn interest into orders. Follow up on quotes, samples, and inquiries, answer questions, and ask for the business.
• Recommend the right products. Learn each customer’s applications and help them choose materials that fit.
• Deliver dependable support. Prepare accurate quotes, process orders, and work with customer service and operations to resolve issues quickly.
• Let the data guide you. Watch purchasing trends, spot changes in account activity, and keep clear CRM notes and next steps.
• Grow profitably. Meet goals for sales, gross profit, retention, and expansion into additional product lines.
• Work as a team. Partner with Account Managers and colleagues on larger opportunities and complex requests.

What You Bring

• Two or more years of inside sales, account management, or B2B experience preferred
• A record of following through, earning customer trust, and meeting goals
• Comfort starting conversations with existing and inactive customers
• Curiosity about how products work and how customers use them
• The ability to ask good questions, recommend solutions, and confidently ask for an order
• Strong organization and attention to detail across many accounts at once
• Comfort with CRM software, email, and Microsoft Office
• Experience in marine, upholstery, textiles, industrial distribution, or manufacturing is helpful, but we also welcome candidates from other industries with strong sales fundamentals and a willingness to learn

Over time, your customers reorder more consistently, add product lines, and turn to Rochford for more of what they need. Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly base pay of [$26 to $30 per hour], plus uncapped commission and performance bonuses
• Target total annual earnings of $70,000 to $100,000 [at quota / once fully ramped: confirm]
