Summary/Objectives
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new sales opportunities through daily prospecting and outreach within an assigned territory. This role partners closely with Account Executives (AEs) and Specialists to build pipeline, schedule qualified meetings, and support revenue growth. The SDR will consistently meet or exceed defined activity, pipeline, and sales objectives while learning and executing RJ Young's five-step sales process and demonstrating product and solution knowledge.
This position serves as a foundational sales role with a defined growth path into outside sales or specialist roles based on performance.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This position requires frequent communication, standing, walking, and occasional lifting associated with customer meetings and equipment demonstrations.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Travel
Minimum travel required within assigned territory.
