The Zurn Elkay Sales Enablement Internship offers a great opportunity for exposure in a hands-on learning environment. You will have the opportunity to develop a variety of technical, business, and leadership skills during the assignment.

The responsibilities the intern supports strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of Sales, Customer Care, Product Management, and Engineering teams. This role provides exposure to commercial operations, competitive intelligence, product applications, customer experience, and process improvement activities.

The intern will assist in maintaining competitive cross-reference information, developing product and application knowledge, support commercial projects, and helping create tools and resources that improve business performance. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, the intern will gain valuable insight into how commercial strategies drive customer satisfaction and business growth.

As a part of the intern program, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the following:

• Networking Events – Zurn Elkay hosts multiple networking opportunities in the Summer that give you exposure to other interns, the leadership team, and executive leaders.
• Coaching and Mentoring – You will have a structured on boarding process to introduce you to Zurn Elkay's corporate culture and provide you with regular feedback.
• Real Work Experience – Our internship process does not include getting coffee for your boss or running copies. We will provide you with a real opportunity to run reports, share your analysis, and improve our processes.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of sales enablement tools, resources, and reference materials.

• Help organize and maintain commercial data used by sales and customer-facing teams.

• Research and update competitive product cross-reference tools.

• Analyze competitior products, features, applications, and marketing positioning.

• Assist in preparing competitive insights for sales and leadership.

• Develop knowledge of trench drainag, interceptor, and related product solutions.

• Learn key product features, specifications, installation requirement, and applications.

• Particiapte in commercial process improvement intiatives.

• Support continuous improevement efforts related to customer experience and commercial processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Currenlty attending school for a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering, or related field

• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer
• Efficient and detail-oriented
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Interest in commercial strategy, sales, or product management
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
