As a Sales Event Planner (SEP) at Puff 'n Stuff Catering, your mission is to create exceptional client experiences while driving sales growth and building lasting relationships.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with venue partners and industry professionals, managing prospective and existing client accounts, and consistently achieving individual sales goals.
Your ability to balance relationship-building, sales strategy, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service will play a critical role in maintaining Puff 'n Stuff's reputation as Florida's trusted catering and event partner.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales revenue objectives.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, venue partnerships, and prospecting.
Prepare, present, and negotiate customized event proposals.
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales and planning process.
Conduct site visits, tastings, venue tours, and consultations.
Establish and strengthen relationships with venue partners and vendors.
Coordinate event details from booking through execution.
Maintain accurate client records and sales activities in Caterease and company systems.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of successful sales experience within hospitality, catering, events, or related industry.
History of generating and managing more than $1 million in annual sales volume.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and event planning processes.
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
Experience in catering, special events, hospitality, destination management, or venue sales.
Proficiency with Caterease or similar CRM/event management systems.
Strong networking and business development skills.
Knowledge of hospitality and event industry trends.
Frequent standing, sitting, walking, speaking, hearing, and visual inspection of event setups and venues.
Regular travel to client meetings, venue visits, networking events, and catered events.
