Develop strong rapport with key customer representatives by providing consistent customer service, pro-actively resolving customer issues
Develop and maintain a high level of cognizance and expertise with respect to company products, the competitive environment, customer requirements and the emerging trends and opportunities of the oil and gas industry
With support from contacts within Sales, Operations and Engineering, develop as necessary thorough product presentations, and present information to customers as required
Work with customers to identify changing requirements concerning new products and applications, from industry trends and customer landscape changes.
Maintain awareness of upcoming business opportunities and pursue customer specific strategies; participate as required in establishing strategic direction related to sales and marketing focus, product development and/or customer specific strategies
In conjunction with Sales Manager, identify and manage target accounts, client activity, revenue forecasting and maintain customer account plans
Consistently pursue communication with target account contacts, and present Stream-Flo solutions as applicable, whether new product, remanufactured product or customer property
Ensure new customer requirements or industry trends are well understood and communicated at the sales and operations meeting. As required, participate in setting unique product requirements or potential product development opportunities
Establish customer demand profile in terms of monthly Forecast Systems (Make to Stock) and unique (Made to Order) systems for known rigs
Align forecasted requirements with Customer (P80) - Provide input for booking forecast.
Maintain clear records of customer communication and activity, track all open quotes with clients to point of PO, or demand call off
Ensure approved quote is loaded into system as a project order; on client PO or call off (Made to Oder /Make to Stock) via New Order Meeting
All management of change to Project Orders must be documented and agreed with operations
Drop in orders must be negotiated across sales and operations meeting; if stock levels fully committed.
Assist with the training/oversight of other Sales colleagues as required
Complete activity reports as directed
Submit detailed trip plans for approval, trip reports and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner
Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:
Strong technical knowledge of wellhead equipment and applications
Minimum 5 years related experience in a wellhead products and associated services
Related post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good working knowledge of well drilling, completion and production processes
Strong presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills
Computer literate- proficiency with Microsoft applications
Mechanical aptitude- understand design and function of wellhead equipment
Highly self-motivated and well organized
