Sales Intern (Summer 2027)

Our 10-week US Summer Internship Program offers students an immersive learning experience with hands-on work in areas across the organization. Interning with PTC provides students with the opportunity to work on high-visibility and high impact projects.

You don't need previous sales or tech experience. We're looking for curious, motivated students who are excited to learn, contribute, and build new skills.

As a Sales Intern at PTC, you'll have the opportunity to support one of our exciting teams:

• Digital Thread BDR - Help organizations connect their product data across the lifecycle with PTC's cutting-edge PLM, IoT, and AR solutions.
• Velocity BDR - Accelerate the adoption of our fast-growing SaaS products, including cloud-native CAD and collaboration tools.

What You'll Experience

• Gain hands-on experience in technology sales and business development.
• Learn how to research and connect with potential customers.
• Develop your communication, relationship-building, and sales skills.
• Work alongside PTC's sales and marketing teams.
• Receive training, mentorship, and support from experienced team members.
• Gain exposure to Salesforce and other tools used by sales teams.
• Learn about PTC's technology and how it helps customers solve real business challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or equivalent program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Interest in sales, business, SaaS, or technology.
• A collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
• Experience through school, internships, part-time jobs, clubs, volunteering, or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required

Each program has a unique structure, goals, and is designed to do just that.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate's background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the hourly range for this position to be between $25-$27. The actual pay may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
