Qualifications
Previous hotel sales experience is preferred. However, if you are motivated, client-focused, and eager to learn, we will provide training and support to help you succeed in this role.
Sales Responsibilities
- Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts, including phone calls, email outreach, client appointments, site tours, networking events, and trade shows.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and event accounts to build trust, loyalty, and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales and marketing presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
- Prioritize revenue-generating activities as directed by the Director of Sales, with a focus on efficient time and account management.
- Respond to all leads within 24 hours to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Monitor production of assigned accounts, analyze market trends, and use brand/corporate tools to capture and shift market share.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive set through STAR reports and other tools to help ensure the hotels achieve or exceed fair share.
- Complete accurate weekly sales recaps and actively participate in sales meetings and special projects as assigned.
- Partner with all hotel departments in a professional and positive manner to support a seamless experience for clients and guests.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and reach as needed throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs., including collateral, displays, and event or sales materials.
- Comfortable working in hotel environments where there may be occasional exposure to standard cleaning agents or chemicals used in operations.
