    Sales Manager/Studio Manager Role Overview

    The Sales Manager/Studio Manager will lead and oversee studio operations with a primary focus on driving membership and retail sales. This dynamic role blends 80-90% sales activities with 10-20% management responsibilities, including staff supervision and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales and Revenue Growth

    • Drive membership sales through direct outreach, networking, and grassroots marketing.
    • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads and boost revenue by 8-10% month over month.
    • Develop and execute outside sales strategies and build partnerships with local businesses.
    • Manage studio attrition, keeping it under 6%, by fostering strong member relationships and retention efforts.
    • Keep track of and execute member cancellations and frozen accounts
    • Actively prospect and follow up on leads via phone calls, emails, and text messages.

    Studio Operations

    • Oversee studio cleanliness, organization, and adherence to policies and procedures.
    • Manage inventory for retail products, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
    • Collect outstanding dues and maintain accurate records through the studio's CRM system (e.g., ClubReady).
    • Coordinate with vendors and ensure all necessary forms and supplies are available.
    • Use resources such as My Stretch Works to find answers to operational and sales-related questions.

    Team Leadership and Development

    • Recruit, train, and supervise Sales Representatives and Flexologists.
    • Coach staff on sales techniques to meet individual and team targets.
    • Independently address high-level customer service issues with professionalism and tact.
    • Collaborate with the District Manager to align on goals and strategies.
    • Attend all meetings with the District Manager and corporate support teams.

    Community Engagement and Marketing

    • Schedule and actively participate in community and networking events to promote the studio.
    • Create and manage social media marketing campaigns, posting at least three times weekly and sharing stories five times a week.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in fitness or membership sales.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems such as ClubReady.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple revenue streams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
    • Passion for fitness and commitment to studio success.
    • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, nights, and weekends.

    Additional Requirements

    • Impeccable attendance with no more than two callouts per quarter.
    • Punctuality in all aspects of the role, including daily operations and scheduled events.
    • Attendance at all required meetings with the District Manager and corporate support teams.
    • Self-motivated and reliable, with a proactive approach to achieving personal and team goals.
