This is a full-time exempt level position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Manager with experience in sales and/or raw material purchasing with expertise in delivering value creation thru excellent customer service. The responsibilities of the position will include duties in pulp sales, raw material purchasing, bi-product sales, and managing logistics, distribution and selling channels. The Sales Manager reports directly to the General Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members to develop sales plans for key accounts and regions.
  • Interacts with key customers accounts and maintains on going and regular communications with customers to enhance relationships and customer service.
  • Manage global customer orders from contract to delivery and involved in container logistics management.
  • Develop and maintain customers to sell bi-product out of the plant.
  • Procure raw lint for plant and develop market resources to form opinions on market prices for risk management
  • Requires high level strategic thinking, market knowledge, and plant knowledge to identify market potential and deliver first line technical support.
  • Stays up to date on current knowledge in pulp and paper technology.
  • Work directly with Operations, Commercial, Lab, and Technical team to drive future business needs and meet customer requirements and business goals.
  • Responsible to work with upstream Oilseed crush mills to drive value in ADM chain thru raw lint purchasing and sales.

Job Requirements:

  • BA, BS or Master's degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • International Sales experience with Asia focus preferred.
  • Able to travel domestically and Internationally.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a results focus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize and set goals.
  • Knowledge of dissolving pulp market a plus.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$120,800.00 - $223,900.00The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
