HiFyve is hiring a Sales Manager in the heavy equipment industry in Portland, OR!

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000/year

Shift: Days

Location: Hybrid (within commuting distance of Portland, OR or Eugene, OR)


Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of outside Sales Representatives across multiple territories

• Establish and execute regional sales strategies aligned with revenue and growth goals

• Set sales targets and monitor team performance using KPIs and CRM data

• Conduct field visits, ride-alongs, and performance evaluations to drive accountability

• Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance and pipeline activity

• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic customers

• Support negotiations on large equipment deals and complex transactions

• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities

• Drive growth across new, used, and rental equipment sales


Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5–7+ years of outside sales experience in heavy equipment or related industry

• 2+ years of sales leadership or management experience

• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment markets and customer segments

• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills

• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools

• Financial acumen including forecasting, pricing, and margin management

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities

• Ability to travel regularly, including field work and overnight travel as needed

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
