Sales Manager, Commercial HVAC Services

• Base salary: $160,000 plus annual bonus (negotiable)

About the company

Our client is an established commercial HVAC mechanical services contractor with a large West Coast footprint and a national parent company behind it. They specialize in service, maintenance, and retrofit, with a growing Puget Sound branch and an experienced technical team.

The role

You’ll lead and coach a team of outside sales account executives and build the branch’s new-business engine. This is a dedicated leadership role, not a player-coach role with a personal quota. You’ll work closely with the branch manager to set strategy, build a sales culture, and win share from long-established competitors.

What you’ll do

• Build and run the market sales plan to hit annual revenue and margin goals
• Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of account executives on activity, pipeline, and close rates
• Run regular 1:1s, ride-alongs, and pipeline reviews
• Push the team’s outbound activity and new-logo growth
• Review and approve pricing to protect margin; support proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
• Stay close to key client relationships
• Help hire and onboard new sellers as the branch grows

What we’re looking for

• 7 to 10+ years of B2B sales experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical services, including sales leadership or management experience
• Experience selling service agreements and retrofit or replacement projects
• Able to read a set of mechanical prints
• A real coach who builds people up and drives accountability
• Strong communication, organization, and Excel skills
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred
