Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through inbound and outbound calls, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up.
  • Present and explain life insurance products, coverage options, and policy benefits to prospective clients.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customers' financial goals, family situations, and protection needs.
  • Recommend appropriate life insurance solutions based on each client's individual circumstances.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention, referrals, and long-term loyalty.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and existing customers to maximize sales opportunities and policy renewals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly production, premium, and sales goals established by the agency.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all client interactions, applications, and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Ensure all applications, documentation, and policy information are completed accurately and in compliance with state and company regulations.
  • Stay current on life insurance products, underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams, managers, and other producers to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, coaching programs, and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain high ethical standards and always act in the best interest of clients and the agency.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for additional insurance products when appropriate.
  • Represent the agency professionally within the community and contribute to building a strong brand reputation.

Requirements
  • Active Life and Health Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or insurance.
  • Previous life insurance sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet sales goals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-based environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Availability to work on-site during business hours.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
