Job Summary:

Sales & Project Coordinator is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities to fuel the company's growth. This position is responsible for contacting and qualifying existing and potential customers, setting appointments, following up on leads, facilitating communication between engineers and customers to ensure smooth project progress. The coordinator will track progress towards sales goals, collaborate with the Engineer team, utilize AccountMate (SQL) software to manage project sales activities.

Staying current with market trends, competition, and industry developments is crucial, as is attending networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads. Regular reporting on sales activities and results to management is a key part of this role.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Regular visits with customers.

Travel within the US and overseas.

Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company.

Contact and qualify potential customers by visiting and calling.

Schedule appointments and follow up on sales leads.

Track progress towards sales goals.

Collaborate with the Engineer Team to make sure projects are completed.

Prepare MRO and project quotations for existing and potential customers.

Utilize AccountMate (SQR) software effectively to manage leads and sales activities.

Stay current with market trends, competition, and industry developments.

Attending networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.

Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Perform all other duties as defined by supervisor.

Support inside sales and provide a quotation for MRO customers

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to act voluntarily and proactively to achieve sales goals.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Additional language skills, such as Japanese, are plus.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.

Ability to read mechanical drawing is a plus

Self-motivation, initiative, and strong comprehension skills are required

Strong self-management and accountability for achieving sales targets are required
