What You Can Expect

The Sales Recruiter supports Zimmer Biomet's Foot & Ankle commercial growth (under Paragon 28) by sourcing prospective sales talent for both company sales roles and independent distributor agency opportunities. This role focuses primarily on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective candidates against minimum role requirements, then routing qualified prospects to the appropriate internal hiring team or independent distributor agency for further consideration.

How You'll Create Impact

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Source prospective sales talent for Paragon 28 W2 sales roles and independent distributor agency opportunities across assigned markets.
  • Build and maintain sourcing pipelines through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, professional associations, campus recruiting, athletic programs, and other relevant talent channels.
  • Promote awareness of Paragon 28's sales opportunities and independent distributor agency opportunities through appropriate recruiting channels, events, and outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct initial outreach and basic qualification conversations with prospective candidates to confirm interest, availability, location, experience, and other minimum qualifications.
  • For independent distributor agency opportunities, route candidates who meet minimum qualification criteria to the appropriate distributor agency for further consideration
  • For Paragon 28 W2 sales roles, partner with internal hiring managers, Human Resources, and Sales leadership to support the recruiting process in accordance with company hiring practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information, sourcing activity, pipeline status, and referral documentation in applicable systems.
  • Move candidates efficiently through the appropriate routing process while maintaining a positive and professional candidate experience.
  • Manage multiple sourcing priorities across markets while balancing speed, quality of outreach, and compliance with applicable process requirements.
  • Partner with Sales leadership, Human Resources, and distributor agency contacts to understand market needs, minimum qualification criteria, and sourcing priorities.
  • Support campus recruiting efforts, including outreach to universities, athletic programs, career centers, and other early-career talent sources.
  • Develop and maintain market-specific sourcing strategies to identify candidates with relevant sales aptitude, competitive background, clinical interest, and customer-facing potential.
  • Follow established guidelines regarding communications with candidates for independent distributor agency opportunities to ensure the role remains limited to sourcing and minimum qualification screening.
  • Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with candidates, internal stakeholders, and distributor agency contacts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing efficiency, candidate flow, and market coverage.
  • Provide monthly sales recruiting status updates, including sourcing activity, pipeline health, candidate flow, and open requisitions

Non - Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist with recruiting events, career fairs, campus visits, and other talent attraction activities as needed.
  • Support special recruiting projects, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with development of sourcing materials, outreach templates, and candidate communication resources.

Your Background

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in recruiting, sales, talent sourcing, business development, or a related field.

  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, networking, campus recruiting, athletic programs, professional associations, or similar channels.
  • Experience supporting sales recruiting, medical device recruiting, agency recruiting, campus recruiting, or high-volume sourcing preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow defined recruiting process boundaries, including distinctions between company hiring activity and sourcing support for independent distributor agency opportunities.
  • Strong judgment and discipline to qualify candidates against minimum criteria without overstepping into candidate assessment, ranking, selection, or hiring decision-making for independent distributor agency opportunities.
  • Ability to move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospective candidates professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders, external agency contacts, universities, athletic programs, and prospective candidates.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting or sourcing tools.
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle candidate information appropriately.

Travel Expectations

Up to 25% of overnight travel required

Compensation Data

Salary: $90,000-110,000 USD annually
