Proven track record managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Vectorworks required; familiarity with 3D rendering software a plus. Knowledge of the Chicago luxury design market and trade community is a plus.

A confidential, highly regarded European kitchen and bath manufacturer is seeking a Sales & Design Project Manager for its Chicago showroom team. At its core, this is a sales role - closing high-value, custom kitchen and bath projects - wrapped in the technical rigor of design and project execution. The right candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and can move fluidly between consultative selling, design development, and hands-on project management.

The Role

The Sales & Design Project Manager will drive the full sales and project lifecycle - from initial client consultation and design development through technical drawings, ordering, and installation coordination. This individual will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, and trade professionals, guiding them through a consultative, relationship-first sales process rather than a transactional one, while preparing quotes, proposals, and project timelines that close business.

The role also includes coordinating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule, conducting site visits and measurements as needed, and representing the brand at industry events and trade shows to generate new business. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining the attention to detail and responsiveness that high-end clients expect at every stage of the process.

Unlike a traditional sales role or a traditional project management role, this position requires genuine fluency in both. You need the design sensibility to understand a client's aesthetic vision and translate it into a technically sound kitchen or bath plan, and you need the commercial instinct to move that project from concept to signed contract. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate brings experience in luxury kitchen and bath sales, interior design project management, or a closely related field within the high-end residential market. You have a strong understanding of kitchen and bath design principles, are comfortable reading and producing technical drawings, and have experience managing custom projects from specification through installation. Above all, you are a relationship builder - someone who earns client trust through expertise, transparency, and consistently delivering on your commitments.
