Overview

The Roofing Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales and profit through professional in-home consultations using the Bumble Roofing 10-Step Sales Process. Roofing Sales Representatives represent the Bumble brand in the field and guide homeowners through a structured decision-making process. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discipline, motivation, and coachability. Roofing Sales Representative follow a defined sales system and continuously develop their skills through training and performance feedback.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough exterior, roof, gutter, and ventilation inspections using company processes and digital documentation tools. Additional trades (like siding, painting, fascia, etc.) are available based on your comfort level, enabling you to maximize your commission on each job. 

•     Government and Commercial Projects and RFPs are available but not required. 

•     Present customized solutions, material and package options, warranties, and financing using our digital presentation apps.

•     Execute the Bumble 10-Step Sales Process to easily and consistently educate homeowners and close deals.

•     Build local B2B relationships, attend networking and company events, generate customer referrals, and secure 5-star reviews.

•     Maintain accurate and timely CRM records and proposal follow-ups. 

Who We Are Looking For

No prior roofing experience? No problem! We hire for personality, drive, and coachability first. We strongly encourage applicants with backgrounds in hospitality, retail, fitness/gym management, or military/first responder service to apply.

Requirements

•     At least 18 years old.

•     Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

•     Reliable personal transportation suitable for field travel.

•     Authorization to work in the U.S.

•     6-year clean background check preferred.

Applicants with background experience in residential sales, home improvement, exterior remodeling, solar, automotive, or B2B consultative sales are also welcomed!

Schedule & Flexibility

This is a flexible, field-based outside sales role. Appointments are available 7 days a week based on customer demand. While weekday availability is expected, you maintain control over your schedule and weekend availability.

Training & Development

All Roofing Sales Representative complete a structured PAID 30-day onboarding plan designed to build knowledge, skills, and confidence in the Bumble Roofing sales system, followed by the Bumble Roofing Training and Certification Program.

•     Week 1 — Foundations: learn the company vision, tools, and the Bumble 10-Step Sales Process; complete LMS modules; observe sales appointments.

•     Week 2 — Process Fluency: practice sales conversations through role-play; learn roof inspections; study objection handling and value presentation.

•     Week 3 — Field Practice: assist with inspections and homeowner conversations; practice presenting portions of the sales process; record practice conversations.

•     Week 4 — Readiness for Certification: lead full sales appointments with supervision; demonstrate the 10-Step Sales Process; prepare for Roofing Sales Representative Training.

Throughout onboarding, Roofing Sales Representative receive daily coaching, role-play sessions, and ride-alongs from their owner or manager, along with reviews of recorded sales conversations for ongoing feedback.

Compensation

Compensation: 100% Commission | Uncapped Earning Potential ($100k+ Opportunity) + Bonuses
