Sales Representative - Entry Level Beverage

Pay Range: $48,500 per year & monthly car allowance starting at $550

Location: Throughout OR (Portland -Salem & in between)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift

A Day in the Life as an Sales Representative - Entry Level Beverage:

As an Entry Level Sales Representative on the Utility team, you'll play a key role in the success of Maletis Beverage by supporting our Small Format, Large Format, and On-Premise sales teams. In this hands-on role, you'll provide sales coverage during representative absences, help maintain product availability and merchandising standards, process orders, and deliver excellent service to convenience stores, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and other retail customers. You'll gain exposure to a variety of customer accounts and sales channels while building strong customer relationships and developing a comprehensive understanding of the beverage distribution industry.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys variety in their workday, and wants to launch a career in sales with opportunities for growth and advancement.

What You'll Do:

• Cover sales territories during Sales Representative absences and help meet sales goals
• Stock, organize, and rotate products according to Maletis Beverage rotation standards
• Process orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Build and maintain customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing excellent service
• Learn our diverse beverage portfolio to effectively communicate and sell to customers
• Provide accurate, timely follow-up recaps to Sales Representatives to ensure seamless account service
• Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve common goals

What We're Looking For:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Own a reliable car
• Valid driver's license (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)
• Auto insurance coverage that meets Company policy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word)
• Ability to read invoices, load sheets, and job orders, and perform simple math
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills
• Knowledge of beer and wine a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Repetitively push, pull, and lift cases of product (10-50 pounds) from floor to overhead
• Occasionally push/pull kegs (160 pounds) with the help of equipment
• Exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
