We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to oversee sales and business development efforts for pharma products throughout the East Coast. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and healthcare organizations to drive sales and market penetration of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector throughout the East Coast. Generate leads, conduct market research, and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and meet sales objectives. Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales growth and market share.
- Present a portfolio to potential clients, highlighting key features and benefits. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and webinars as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understand their needs, and provide ongoing support to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities. Manage the sales pipeline, maintain accurate CRM records, and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to support product launches and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Must have bachelor"s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Must have proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
- Must have strong understanding of pharmaceutical research and development processes
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must demonstrate ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Must have willingness to travel as required and familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
