Our client, a leading company in the tobacco industry, is seeking a Sales Representative to join their growing field team. This is a highly relationship-driven role focused on building strong customer connections, supporting local events, increasing brand presence, and driving sales within an assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field. This position requires someone who enjoys meeting new people, developing relationships within local communities, and taking ownership of a large geographic territory.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, retailers, community partners, and other key stakeholders.
Conduct regular in-person customer visits throughout an assigned territory.
Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to increase product awareness, distribution, and engagement.
Represent the company at local events, community initiatives, trade shows, and promotional activities.
Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events and community engagement programs.
Develop relationships with local organizations and community partners to strengthen the company's presence within the territory.
Educate customers and retail partners on products, promotions, and brand initiatives.
Monitor market activity, customer feedback, and competitive trends and communicate insights to leadership.
Manage a territory effectively, prioritizing customer visits and opportunities based on business needs.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, events, and territory performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to execute sales, promotional, and community engagement strategies.
Represent the company and its brands with professionalism and a high level of integrity.

Travel & Territory Requirements
This is a field-based position requiring significant daily driving throughout the assigned territory.
Expect approximately 10 overnight trips per month, depending on territory needs and business activity.
Frequent travel to customer locations, retail accounts, events, and community engagements is required.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently while managing a highly mobile schedule.

What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in sales, account management, field marketing, territory management, community engagement, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable with frequent driving and overnight travel.
Experience supporting events, community initiatives, or customer-facing programs is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple responsibilities across a large territory.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Professional, outgoing, and confident personality with a genuine interest in working directly with customers and communities.
