Sales Representative - IT Career Advisor

100% commission, no base salary. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with uncapped earnings. If you want a base salary, this isn't the role.

NGT Academy was founded by Air Force veterans on the belief that education should prepare people for the workforce the way military training does — real skills instead of four years of debt for a degree that doesn't teach what employers need. We're on a mission to place 1 million people into tech careers by 2030, and we need closers who can turn conversations into career transformations.

You'll own the full enrollment conversation from first call to close, working over Zoom with prospects who have already raised their hand about changing careers. The product carries 800+ five-star Trustpilot reviews, so the work is helping the right people say yes — not manufacturing interest. Fully remote, with a team across the United States and Canada.

What you'll own

- Full-cycle enrollment conversations via Zoom, from initial consultation through close

- Clear enrollment targets within a proven, high-ticket program

- Senior-level objection handling — career change, investment, time commitment, and ROI, addressed with both confidence and empathy

- Pipeline management in CRM, with consistent follow-up and patience for leads who need time

- Student handoffs to Student Success on payments, withdrawals, and support questions

What success looks like in your first 90 days

- Product and sales training complete, with time spent learning from top performers

- Closing enrollments independently at a consistent conversion rate

- Earning $6K+ months regularly

- Your own objection-handling playbook, built from what's actually working

- Positive feedback from the students you enrolled

Requirements

- 3+ years of sales experience with a documented record of hitting or exceeding quota

- Experience closing high-ticket or consultative deals where trust preceded the purchase

- Comfort with 100% commission compensation

- Independent pipeline management — you don't need day-to-day direction

- Coachable at a senior level: you actively seek feedback and look for room to improve

- Belief in education as a path to career change

- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet space for video calls

Bonus points

- EdTech, career services, or training enrollment experience

- Background selling to career changers, veterans, or non-traditional learners

- CRM familiarity, HubSpot or similar
