We are seeking applicants for a Sales Representative position in our Miami Gardens, FL facility located at 15600 NW 15th Ave, Suite A, Miami Gardens, FL 33169.
The Sales Representative is responsible for all activities associated with selling and servicing accounts. Responsibilities include:
• Achieves sales goals and executes sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account with new or existing business. • Responsible for securing and maintaining distribution of products and/or services, providing pricing, negotiating, and maintaining effective sales agreements. • Service existing accounts through regular contact. • Follow-up on past due collections. • Creates, monitors, and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. • Satisfies existing customer needs and expands existing business by fostering and maintaining customer relationships. • Coordinates with the design department on the customers behalf to improve existing design and develops new designs. • Reviews opportunities and problems and the efficiency of existing procedures with the sales manager and recommends opportunities for improvements. • Responsible for overall account management, which may include record-keeping, credit applications, forecasts, budgets, and credit collections from delinquent accounts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales with a proven record of success • Valid drivers license and good driving record for the last 3 years • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure, self-motivated, manage time well, and be committed to their individual and teams success • Ability to use independent judgment in negotiating sales agreements and be able to exercise expertise with difficult or sensitive accounts • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREferred QUALIFICATIONS
• 3 years of experience in corrugated material or paper sales • Experience with manufacturing safety practices
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple projects and/or requests concurrently. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests. • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with new people and solicit buy-in from various audiences. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network and build relationships with individuals of various experience and corporate levels, both within and outside of the company. • Solid financial and business operations analysis skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvements. • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to create new business opportunities. • Strong listening, evaluating, and problem-solving skills. Ability to create alternative solutions and meet deadlines.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Starting salary range for the position: $60,000 - $75,000.
Paid Vacation: Three weeks per calendar year.
Paid Holidays.
Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee and their dependents are eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages - medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life AD&D and disability coverages.
Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer-provided matching contributions.
