Position Overview

Gliderol Garage Doors is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and distributors of residential and commercial garage doors, roller doors, sectional doors, and automation systems. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to expand our presence across residential, commercial, builder, and retail channels. This field-based role offers the opportunity to build lasting customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, support our sales network, and drive sustainable sales growth throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with builders, architects, developers, project managers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across builder, shed builder, commercial and retail market segments.
• Promote Gliderol's range of garage door and automation solutions to all relevant markey channels
• Drive sales growth by identifying untapped markets and emerging opportunities across metro and regional South Australia.
• Manage sales pipelines, customer opportunities, and account activities through CRM systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams across operations, customer service, production, and estimating to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
• Contribute to quarterly business planning and achievement of territory sales targets.

What we require

We are seeking a self-motivated, commercially minded sales professional with a proven track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering sales growth within the construction & residential sectors

• Previous sales experience within the construction, building products, manufacturing, or related industries is highly regarded
• Strong business development and account management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from construction managers and project coordinators to retail customers.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
• Current driver's licence.

What we prefer

• 5+ years' sales experience
• Proven success securing project-based sales and specification opportunities.
• Experience working with builders, developers, architects, commercial contractors, or retail partners.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, construction documentation & measure
• Attention to detail to ensure correct product & sizing is manufactured to customer requirements
• Garage door, building products, industrial products, or construction sector experience highly regarded.
