Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Penmac Staffing is seeking a motivated Sales Representative for a local metal fabrication and manufacturing company in Springfield, Missouri. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, assisting customers, identifying sales opportunities, and working in both a manufacturing and retail-focused environment. This position does not involve cold calling and includes assisting walk-in customers, checking inventory, preparing quotes, and supporting business growth.Requirements
- Previous sales experience with a proven ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally for customer visits
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional, customer-focused attitude with a high level of integrity and accountability
- Typing skills of 30+ words per minute
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must maintain confidentiality and professional business relationships
- CAD software knowledge and blueprint reading experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers
- Assist walk-in customers with product selection, orders, and inventory inquiries
- Generate new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts
- Conduct customer meetings, phone calls, site visits, and presentations
- Research potential customers and identify market opportunities
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and sales documentation
- Resolve customer concerns while providing excellent customer service
- Promote company products and services in a professional manner
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry activities as needed
- Meet sales goals while supporting overall company growth
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
