Summary

Paysafe is looking for a Sales Solution Engineer to join our Sales Enablement team. In this role, you will help merchants and ISV/SaaS partners across North America, the UK, and the EEA design and adopt secure, scalable payment solutions.

This is a hybrid position based in our Jacksonville, FL office, with an expectation of working onsite three days per week.

Sales Solutioning Responsibilities

You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Client Delivery to understand customer goals, guide technical discovery, and recommend practical integration strategies that support successful onboarding and long-term growth.

Solution Architecture and Technical Discovery

• Lead technical discovery sessions to gather requirements, assess solution fit, and define integration options.
• Recommend product, onboarding, processing, funding, reporting, and integration solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Identify unique customer requirements and coordinate internal discussions for custom solution needs.

Payments Expertise and Compliance

• Apply knowledge of payments, acquiring, merchant processing, and ISV/PayFac models to customer solution discussions.
• Help design secure, compliant solutions for customers operating in regulated environments.

Customer Engagement and Sales Support

• Engage with prospective customers throughout the sales cycle to understand their business model, goals, and technical requirements.
• Present technical solutions through customer meetings, workshops, and executive-level discussions.
• Support Sales teams by helping position Paysafe solutions clearly and confidently in customer conversations.

Collaboration, Documentation, and Product Enablement

• Create clear documentation for technical solutions, business processes, user flows, and integration designs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Client Delivery to support product rollouts and share input on future capabilities.
• Learn quickly, solve problems collaboratively, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Experience working with API-based integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, SDKs, and JSON data formats.
• Familiarity with payment gateways; experience with NMI, Fiserv, or TSYS is a plus.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office Suite, Cursor, Postman, Salesforce, and related collaboration or sales enablement tools.

Education, Experience & Professional Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience required; education in IT, Web Development or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in client-facing technical support, solution engineering, or technical pre-sales.
• Payments industry experience is preferred.
• Payments/Technical product or software certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and business concepts to different audiences.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and translate them into practical business solutions.
