Sales Support Specialist

 

Position Overview

Culinary Depot is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support our outside sales team. This person will help sales representatives stay focused on building customer relationships and closing deals by handling quotes, administrative tasks, customer communication, and sales coordination.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of office experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This person should be comfortable speaking directly with customers, following up on requests, and taking ownership to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, create, and update customer quotes for outside sales representatives.

• Communicate directly with customers regarding quotes, pricing, product availability, and order details.

• Follow up on outstanding quotes and customer requests to help move sales opportunities forward.

• Handle administrative tasks to support the outside sales team.

• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to obtain pricing, product information, and order updates.

• Ensure quotes, customer information, and sales documentation are accurate and up to date.

• Track open requests and follow up to ensure timely responses and resolution.

• Assist with order processing and other sales-related tasks as needed.

• Maintain clear communication between sales representatives, customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of office or administrative experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking directly with customers.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines.

• Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and other office software.

• Strong follow-through and a sense of urgency.

• Experience with quoting, sales support, or customer service is a plus.
