Sales Support Representative
Location: Deer Park, TX, On-site
Job Type: Contract, with potential for extension or conversion based on staffing needs
Pay Rate: $29–$32/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Representative to support customer orders, parts quotations, and service inquiries for industrial equipment. This role involves processing orders, communicating with customers, resolving order-related issues, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, inside sales, order management, or parts sales and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer parts orders accurately using an ERP system.
- Prepare parts quotations and respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Communicate order updates, delays, and potential issues to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies and customer concerns by working with internal teams.
- Identify alternative product or delivery options when requested items are unavailable.
- Negotiate customer terms within established guidelines, including delivery schedules and payment terms.
- Assist with accounts receivable inquiries by communicating payment requirements and helping resolve outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with sales, inventory, repair, manufacturing, shipping, and engineering teams to address order status concerns.
- Maintain accurate order records, quotations, and supporting documentation.
- Prioritize multiple requests, meet deadlines, and work independently in a high-pressure environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- College degree or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, order management, parts sales, quoting, or industrial maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle ERP is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and systems is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing requests, and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build productive professional relationships.
