The Salesforce Tester will focus on ensuring the quality and functionality of Salesforce implementations within the technology department. This role involves testing, identifying issues, and collaborating with the team to deliver reliable solutions.

Description

  • Perform functional and regression testing on Salesforce applications.
  • Identify, document, and report defects or issues during testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve system issues.
  • Create and maintain test cases and test scripts for Salesforce solutions.
  • Ensure test results meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Work with the team to validate system upgrades and new features.
  • Provide input on improving testing processes and methodologies.
  • Support users during the user acceptance testing phase.

Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong focus on Salesforce testing.
  • ISTQB Test Analyst Certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud/Communities.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud and/or Account Engagement (Pardot) is a plus.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements



Salesforce QA Expertise

  • Hands-on experience performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing within Salesforce environments.
  • Recent and relevant Salesforce QA experience is required, particularly in Sales Cloud and Communities implementations.
  • Ability to validate business processes, workflows, configurations, and system integrations across Salesforce platforms.


Manual Testing Focus

  • Strong manual testing skills with experience creating test plans, test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects.
  • Comfortable working in a primarily manual QA environment while leveraging automation knowledge where appropriate.
  • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects through resolution.


End-to-End Quality Assurance

  • Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation.
  • Ability to perform end-to-end testing across multiple systems and integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and user experience.


Technical Tools & Exposure

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Loader and data validation activities.
  • Familiarity with DML operations and Salesforce data management processes.
  • Exposure to performance, load, or stress testing methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience working with QA and defect-tracking tools in Agile development environments.
