Sander (2nd Shift)

A Newburyport, MA company is looking to add a Sander to their team!

2nd shift (1pm-11pm)

Full Time

$22 hr. 

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• -Follow instructions and learn architectural woodworking and cabinetry (all aspects).
• -Sand and scuff: manual, as well as power-assisted.
  -Operate all equipment as directed, but not before being instructed and approved for operation by the Shop Foreman.
  -Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, trash collecting, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
  -Assist Woodworkers and Finishers.
  -Assist Shipping and Receiving Department with loading and unloading of trucks, packing millwork for transport, etc.
  -Own tools as required by the Shop Foreman.
  -Develop good organizational skills.
  -Be punctual and maintain consistent attendance.
  -Willing to work overtime as required.
  -Report any and all unsafe conditions and acts immediately to a supervisor or the Human Resource Manager.
  -Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform general housekeeping duties.
  -Lifting, pushing and/or moving heavy objects, walking, standing (on concrete floor for more than 8 hours per day), bending, stretching, reaching, and twisting required.

MUST be able to pass a 10-panel drug screening
