As our Sanitation Supervisor, you will maintain the cleanliness and food safe environment of the facility and processing equipment on a daily basis. Your mission will be to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the sanitation food safety and pest control programs. This includes revising the Master Sanitation Schedule, work instructions, training documentation, and compliance audits.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:
- Direct and coordinate all daily sanitation activities within the processing facility.
- Maintain GMP provisions that relate to cleanliness, food safety, and pest control within the facility.
- Aid in the administration of biological monitoring procedures to determine the efficacy of sanitation methods.
- Be responsible for maintaining a supply of cleaning chemicals that are necessary for operation of the cleaning program and are in compliance with FIFRA, OSHA, and FDA regulations.
- Manage operations to maintain the highest rating possible on all annual audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement new methods, procedures, and systems to improve quality and food safety performance.
- Manage operation to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Verify sanitation documentation, training, and development of the sanitation team Improve processes of systems and procedures
What we require:
- 3+ years of experience in food sanitation, preferably in the bakery/dessert or general food manufacturing industry.
- Strong quantitative skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically.
- Ability to work independently as well as with groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
What we prefer:
- Manufacturing supervisory experience
- Associate's degree or higher in science (i.e., Biology, Food Science or Technology) or related field and/or applicable industry experience
