SAP Analytics & Reporting SME — Alteryx

Build andoperate the analytics and reporting layer on top of the JTMS S/4HANA platform.Combine SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI, and Alteryx to deliveroperational, financial, and movement-visibility reporting for USTRANSCOMstakeholders. Serve as the connective tissue between source SAP data, theprogram’s data engineering pipelines, and the dashboards joint leaders rely onfor daily decision-making.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power BI,and Tableau dashboards backed by S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and downstream data marts;align visual design and KPI taxonomy with USTRANSCOM stakeholder needs.

Build and maintain Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Serverworkflows for data preparation, reconciliation, and ad-hoc analytical pipelinesfeeding both reports and operational data products.

Develop SQL, Python, and (where required) ABAP-CDSviews against SAP HANA and adjacent data sources; tune for performance onjoint-enterprise volumes.

Translate business questions on transportation,financial, and in-transit-visibility data into reproducible analyticalworkflows; document lineage, assumptions, and refresh cadence.

Partner with the JTMS data engineering team on dataquality, master data alignment, and the canonical reporting model bridgingtransportation and financial domains.

Support self-service analytics enablement: training,templates, governance models, and stewardship of the program’s analyticscontent library.

Produce documentation, runbooks, and theanalytics-specific RMF / authorization evidence the program requires.

Required qualifications

• US citizen with Secret security clearance or ability to obtain/maintainSecret clearance upon hire
• Responsible for the successful execution of the program’s strategic data management and integration
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on Alteryx., preferably in government or defense sectors
• Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly in implementation and data migration
• Advanced proficiency in Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with large-scale data migration projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate plans and strategies to executive level positions
• Familiarity with DoD logistics systems is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and tools.
• Knowledge of metadata management and data cataloging solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, operations research, or a related field

Preferred qualifications

• Agile certification (SAFe) and experience working in an Agile environment
• SAP expertise (public sector/DoD preferred)
• Direct experience with commercial and Federal supply chain best practices
