Skill Requirements
- Hands on experience in various SAP BI/BW versions like 7.1, 7.5, BW4AHANA.
- Mixed Modeling with Native HANA
- Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain data models and data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Reporting: Create and manage reports using BEx (Business Explorer) and other reporting tools.
- System Maintenance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity, perform system audits, and troubleshoot issues.
- User Support: Provide training and support to end-users on SAP BW tools and reports.
- Collaboration: Work with business and IT teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize data models and queries for better performance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.
- Involved in design/architecture of complex SAP HANA data model and visualization for HANA customer 360 analytical needs.
- Designing and creation of Attribute, Analytical, and Calculation Views (Graphical) using HANA Studio; Creates schemas, tables; Working on different joins (left outer joins or referential joins; Inner Joins; Text Joins)
- Data Provisioning through DXC, Data Services, SLT, SDA (Smart Data Access), File based
- Expert in building Graphical and Script based Calculation view.
- Highly Skilled in using Rank, Aggregation, Projection, Union, Join Components
- Running Explain Plans to understand the backend SQL it generates and improving performance
- Performance Improvement of any Calculation Views
- Input Parameters, Passing Input Parameters from one Calculation view to other both in Graphical and Script based Calculation view.
- Hands on experience on SAP BODS to create Job, workflow, Data Model, Transformations, Functions and etc
- Concepts on Data modeling
