We are seeking an SAP FI/CO Consultant to provide hands-on functional support for day-to-day Finance and Cost operations. This person will work directly with business users to understand issues, identify root causes, improve processes, and coordinate solutions across internal IT, AMS, and external partners.
The most important functional requirements for this position are:
- Strong SAP FI/CO experience
- FI: Strong knowledge of bank files, payment processing/integrations, and EDI
- CO: Strong Product Costing and Material Ledger experience
- Strong month-end closing experience
- Strong understanding of key SAP FI/CO tables and the type of data/content contained within them
- Ability to troubleshoot functional issues and understand where to investigate within SAP
- Experience working directly with Finance and Cost business users
- Ability to translate business problems into practical SAP solutions
- Integration knowledge across MM, PP, and SD
- Experience with SAP implementations or rollouts
- Strong ownership of issues from initial request through resolution and business confirmation
- S/4HANA experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement
