Job Description
Sterling Engineering is partnering with an established manufacturer seeking three SAP Implementation Support Specialists to support an upcoming SAP rollout at its Moosic location and nearby facilities. You will help prepare the business for SAP, support system testing, and assist employees as they begin using the new system. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous SAP implementation experience who communicates clearly, resolves issues quickly, and enjoys working directly with business users.
Location: Moosic, PA 18507
Pay Rate: $40.00- $46.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Work Format: 100% onsite
Overtime: None anticipated
Benefits: medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and holiday pay, subject to eligibility requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SAP implementation activities, including system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
- Work with business users to test everyday processes and confirm the system functions as expected.
- Document issues, communicate progress, and coordinate with the implementation team to resolve problems.
- Help new SAP users navigate the system, answer questions, and escalate issues when needed.
- Communicate project priorities, deadlines, and updates to employees and stakeholders.
- Support implementation needs at the Moosic location and nearby facilities.
- For one of the three positions, support order maintenance as the business transitions from Oracle to SAP.
Requirements:
- Must Have: At least 1 to 2 years of experience supporting SAP implementations.
- Must Have: Hands-on involvement in system configuration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support for new users.
- Must Have: Strong communication skills and experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.
- Must Have: A strong sense of urgency when responding to user questions, resolving issues, and meeting implementation deadlines.
- Ability to work 100% onsite and become productive quickly during an active implementation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
