SAP Solution Manager Expert (Data Volume/Logs/Archiving)

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAP Solution Manager Expert with a passion for growth and business transformation. Join our team and utilize SAP technology to configure, develop, deliver and support applications for our clients while leveraging concepts of Lean, Agile, Kanban and SAFe. The SAP Functional Consultant will work with clients to understand their business requirements, and help design a solution, using their business process knowledge. They will assist clients in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Functionality. The goal is to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design.

This position will be responsible for applying expertise/capabilities to lead implementation of Solution Manager for IT and Business Process Monitoring. Using SAP Solution Manager's capabilities and features, this person will architect SAP Solution Landscapes and provide assistance on Landscape growth assessment, establish standards and thresholds for monitoring and auditing to ensure stable and supportable reporting implementation and continual requested capabilities, drive service improvements and efficiencies through the design and development of effective automation, participate and collaborate with other operations teams to provide root-cause analysis for all client outages and failed changes in the environment.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience as a SAP Solution Manager Technical Lead or SAP Basis Lead

• At least 5 years' experience in SAP Basis in a large compute environment

• At least 5 years' experience in knowledge of operating system (Solaris), Red Hat Linux, SAP system administration, SAP correction and transport systems, and SAP system monitoring and tuning

• Experience in implementing Solution Manager Basic Configuration including EAW and managed systems configuration.

• Experience in implementing Technical Monitoring including PI and BI Monitoring.

• Experience in implementing End User Monitoring and Dashboards.

• Experience in implementing Job Scheduling.

• Experience in implementing ChaRM (Change request Management).

• Experience in Data Volume Management, ITSM, BPM, BPCA and Test

• Management/Quality Gate preferred.

• Federal experience desired (DoD experience preferred)

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma/GED- Required

• Bachelor's Degree- Preferred

Required Certifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance or equivalent Certification- Required

• SAFe Certifications- Strongly Preferred

• SAP Certifications- Strongly Preferred

Other:

• Must be US Citizen

• Must have Active DoD Secret clearance or Ability to Obtain it

• Willingness to be on-site daily
