Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in S/4 Conversion and Migration. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of functional aspects of S/4, particularly in the context of data migration and system conversion. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead complex software development projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions focused on S/4 Conversion and Migration.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and data to develop effective migration strategies.
Oversee the execution of data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and compliance with business standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any challenges.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to S/4 and software development methodologies.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong functional knowledge of S/4 Conversion and Migration processes.
Proven experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Expertise in data mapping, data cleansing, and data validation techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to software development (e.g., ABAP, Java, etc.).
Experience with SAP tools and technologies related to migration and conversion.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud based solutions and integration with S/4 systems.
Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 for front end development.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on S/4 Conversion and Migration.
Relevant certifications in SAP S/4HANA or related technologies are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
