SAP Transportation Management (TM) Director

Our California based client is seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Director to join their team on a full time permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of SAP TM experience, including exposure to SAP Business Network for Logistics along with a proven background in Pre-Sales, Solutioning, or Consulting, backed by strong experience in sales processes such as RFx, deal shaping, and strategy and deep expertise in SAP TM configuration and functionality, covering planning, execution, freight costing, and settlement; and a solid understanding of the SAP logistics ecosystem, including S/4HANA, EWM, and integrations, as well as end-to-end transportation processes. This will be a fully remote work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client workshops and discovery sessions, translating requirements into SAP TM solutions (planning, execution, freight settlement).
• Deliver compelling demos, presentations, and Proof of Concepts, showcasing SAP TM value across client-specific logistics challenges.
• Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, shape deals, and drive RFx responses with strong solution positioning.
• Develop proposals, SOWs, and project sizing, ensuring accurate scoping and alignment with client expectations.
• Build and nurture relationships with SAP and partner ecosystems, supporting co-sell and market engagement initiatives.
• Drive go-to-market efforts and stay ahead of SAP TM innovations, maintaining relevant demo environments and contributing to revenue growth.
  
• Experience in solution design, project sizing, and SOW development, with a strong analytical and client-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear, value-driven messaging; brings creative, differentiated solutioning to complex challenges.
