• Those that have been graduated from high school at least 1 year, are new to construction, and are looking to learn the trade and start a career with Sargent as a laborer (March/April 2027 start)
• June 2027 high school graduates looking to enter the workforce after graduation and are looking to learn the trade and start a career with Sargent as a laborer (June 2027 start)

SCA Location:

Sargent's Training Facility in Orono, ME & jobsites across Maine & New Hampshire

Classes Begin:

March/April or June 2027

Duties:

• Demolition and/or cleanup
• General construction labor
• Excavation
• Erosion control install and maintenance

This Job Is:

• A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited/no construction experience and education
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $20.25 per hour + time-and-a-half overtime after 40 hours per pay period

Schedule:

• 10-12 hour shift, occasional Saturday shifts depending on project assignment

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Required) - lodging, per diem, and most mileage paid
