Southwoods Health is expanding! We are currently seeking professional, patient-focused individuals for multiple scheduling roles at our Executive Centre.
1. Referral Scheduling Specialist
Full-Time | Flexible Shifts (Choose your start: 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, or 8:30 AM)
As the vital link between patients and the care they need, you will manage the flow of referrals for both internal and external physicians. You are responsible for ensuring every patient is scheduled accurately and efficiently, prioritizing patient satisfaction by providing a clear and helpful path to their next steps.
  • Key Duties: Manage outbound calls to schedule encounters and guide patients through the registration process.
  • Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience handling medical office referrals (preferred).
2. Call Center Specialist
Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Serve as the first point of contact for our patients. You will handle inbound and outbound calls to ensure a seamless registration and scheduling experience, focusing on a positive patient experience and ensuring total satisfaction from the very first interaction.
  • Key Duties: Schedule appointments, verify insurance, update patient demographics in the EMR, and provide self-pay estimates.
  • Qualifications: 1–2 years of call center experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent de-escalation skills are a must.
