As a Lead Scheduler at Pierce Manufacturing , you'll be at the heart of our production engine-transforming forecasts and strategic plans into precise, executable schedules that drive our world-class emergency vehicle assembly lines. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring our iconic products reach communities when they're needed most. You'll collaborate across departments, from Sales and Marketing to Materials and GPSC, to synchronize supply, demand, and production efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
YOUR IMPACT:

Creates master schedule slots and assignment of forecast groups
Reschedules based upon changes to line rates or production performance
Sequencing withintheday to align within production capability
Coordinateswith Sales on reassignment of forecast groups or model mixchangesper the FirmOrder Review process
Performplanning bill quarterly maintenance - update percentages based upon history and projections fromSales and Marketing
Coordinate with Tactical and Materials departments on planning safety stock to support sales changes. Utilize history to determine required safety stock to support future planned shipments.
Learn all aspects of Scheduling including SIOP generation of line rates to support shipment plan
taking the revised shipment plan, and develop a supply plan and inventory plan
create line rates that will achieve the supply plan
coordinate with GPSC tocreate an achievable supply plan
Interface withMaterials on PFEP, inventory control, and materials management
Learn the materials transactions process to assist in managing inventory accuracy of finished goods, contract manufacturing, and inter-company transfers/sales
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in a related field
Four plus years of related work experience
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Previous scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced computer skills especially in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of Lean principles
Supply chain studies at the college level
Working knowledge of ERP systems
APICS certification or exposure

This role is primarily performed in a professional office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and temperature-controlled settings.
Duties arelargely sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting and using a computer and telephone.
Visual acuity tooperatea computer and read documents isrequired, along with auditory ability toparticipatein virtual and in-person meetings.
Occasional movement within the office environment is necessary, including walking short distances, standing, or reaching for files.

Pay Range:
$57,600.00 - $90,400.00
The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
