Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to support large-scale construction and infrastructure projects across Los Angeles. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools
- Perform critical path analysis and identify potential schedule risks and delays
- Update schedules based on project progress and communicate changes to stakeholders
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to gather schedule updates
- Analyze schedule variances and provide recommendations for recovery plans
- Support planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts across multiple projects
- Ensure schedules align with contract requirements, milestones, and project goals
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in project scheduling within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Experience working on complex, multi-phase projects
- Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and project timelines
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting public works or municipal projects
- Familiarity with cost-loaded or resource-loaded schedules
- Experience working in regulated or union environments
