  • US Citizenship
  • Associate of Science or higher degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Operations Management)
  • 6+ years as a scheduler in the ship maintenance or ship building industry
  • Experience with a schedule modelling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, P6 Primavera...)
  • Comfortable with MS Excel and formula use.
  • Must have intermediate Excel experience,
  • scheduleing software experience (P6, Deltek Open Plan, similar).
  • Outside of scheduling software, candidate must be able to take a specification work item and build a Integrated Production Schedule with sequencing, predecessors, successors, durations, dates, DCMA scheduling criteria.and other induistry SME decision making capabilites.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Scheduler Prin Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Scheduler to join our team in the ship maintenance industry. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating plans and schedules for new or existing programs, determining manpower requirements, and analyzing the impact of projects on various areas such as Operations, Program Management Office, Facilities, and Crafts. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some experience in the ship maintenance industry to develop their skills and knowledge in scheduling and project management.   • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Operations Management)
  • Comfortable using MS PPT, MS Word
  • Able to prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new or existing programs
  • Able to determine, monitor, and review manpower requirements
  • Able to analyze the effects of projects on various areas such as budgets, on time delivery, and resource availability.
  • Able to formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements
  • Able to develop solutions to a variety of problems of increased scope and complexity
  • Able to work under general direction from supervision, with some guidance from policies and practices
  • Able to ensure accountability for completion of projects and goals Able to deliver products on time and without error
  • Able to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to gather information and resolve issues
