Affiliated with The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, we provide top-tier education, innovative research, and residency programs training future medical leaders. ResponsibilitiesMakes and schedules appointment for procedures and surgeries for patients in an efficient and timely manner. Verifies and pre-certifies insurance coverage for surgical procedures. Coordinates day surgeries within main surgery department. Maintain productivity logs for department director. QualificationsJob Requirements: High school diploma or GED Preferred Job Requirements: Two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in a medical office settingKnowledge of medical terminology and surgical scheduling
