The Opportunity
As a Scheduling Coordinator in our Private Home Care division, you will be the central link between clients, caregivers, and the office team. You will ensure that every client visit is staffed with the right caregiver at the right time, keeping care plans on track and families at ease.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and wants their organizational and problem-solving skills to directly improve the lives of others.
What You'll Do
- Develop, manage, and adjust caregiver schedules so all private duty shifts are filled with qualified, compatible caregivers.
- Match caregivers to clients based on skills, personality, location, and client preferences to support long-term continuity of care.
- Respond quickly to caregiver callouts, emergencies, and last-minute schedule changes to maintain safe, uninterrupted coverage.
- Communicate schedule updates clearly and professionally to caregivers and clients, reinforcing trust and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records in WellSky, including caregiver availability, time-off requests, shift confirmations, and client changes.
- Monitor caregiver attendance and reliability, escalating concerns to supervisors and helping address issues early.
- Coordinate new client starts so caregivers are assigned promptly and services begin smoothly.
- Build strong relationships with caregivers and clients to support satisfaction, retention, and Nova Leap's commitment to compassionate care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Support compliance with company policies, client care plans, and state regulations, and be willing to cover a client shift when no replacement caregiver is available to ensure safety and continuity of care.
