    Description

    Stella-Jones seeks a seasoned professional to drive efficiency within our western species utility pole network. This role is integral to coordinating manufacturing orders and optimizing production schedules to meet dynamic supply chain demands. You will leverage your expertise to review performance metrics, implement process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless operational flow and achievement of key performance indicators.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily order flow, ensuring accurate and timely integration into production schedules.Proactively identify and expedite critical orders to mitigate supply chain disruptions.Lead and contribute to strategic process improvement initiatives under the direction of the Master Scheduler.Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including late orders, to drive performance improvements.Maintain and communicate production targets, ensuring alignment across the network.Prepare and present data for weekly production review meetings.Partner with plant representatives and Sales to optimize plant inventories and target levels.Champion and contribute to a robust company safety program.Undertake other critical operational duties as assigned.

    Skills:

    Order Management: Proficiency in processing, tracking, and expediting manufacturing orders.Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain principles, including demand forecasting and inventory management.ERP/MRP Systems: Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software.Data Analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret production data.Root Cause Analysis: Skill in identifying the underlying causes of production delays or inefficiencies.Process Improvement: Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvementsProblem-Solving: Aptitude for developing and implementing effective solutions to operational challenges.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various departmentsVerbal & Written Communication: Clear and concise communication for reporting, presentations, and daily interactions.Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare and deliver clear and informative presentations.
