Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our team within a special education private school setting designed for children on the autism spectrum. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and follows a school-year schedule, with summers and holidays off. This position will be based in Shaker Heights, OH.
Responsibilities
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in improving their daily living skills.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Experience working with children and adolescents with autism preferred.
