About the Role:
Charm City Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Baltimore, MD! Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric students in a school-based setting
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Document progress notes, evaluation reports, and IEP goals in compliance with school and state requirements
- Provide sensory integration, fine motor, and self-care skill interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences as needed
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active OT licensure in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
- NBCOT certification required or in progress
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, IDEA regulations, and school-based OT practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children of varying needs
