School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Make a meaningful difference in how students communicate, learn, and connect! Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Salem, OR to help elementary students strengthen their communication skills, confidence, and classroom participation.

Position Overview 

• Provide speech and language support to elementary students in grades 3–5, helping them develop effective communication skills and participate successfully in the classroom.
• Implement individualized speech-language activities and interventions under the direction and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers to reinforce communication goals and support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, student progress, and relevant observations.

Qualifications 

• Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) License required
• Two sets of fingerprints required for applicable birth–5 school clearance requirements
• School-based or pediatric speech-language experience preferred
