    • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and mechanically sound bus.
    • Report mechanical concerns, damage, or maintenance needs immediately.
    • Ensure all required safety equipment is present and operational.
    • Follow all applicable traffic laws and transportation regulations.

    Professional Responsibilities

    • Attend required monthly safety meetings.
    • Attend required staff meetings and professional development when applicable.
    • Maintain accurate transportation-related records and documentation.
    • Demonstrate professionalism and positive communication with scholars, families, staff, and community members.
    • Protect student confidentiality and follow all school policies and procedures.
    • Serve as a positive representative of BELIEVE Circle City High School.

    The ideal candidate is:

    • Safety-minded and dependable.
    • Student-centered and enjoys working with young people.
    • Punctual and consistent.
    • Calm, patient, and professional.
    • Able to establish appropriate relationships and boundaries with scholars.
    • Comfortable communicating with students, families, and school staff.
    • Able to respond appropriately to changing circumstances and emergencies.
