School Custodian

About the Role:
Creative Learning Academy Inc is looking for a dedicated and reliable School Custodian to help keep our campus clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and families in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal across campus
• Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture for school events and activities
• Perform minor building maintenance and report larger repair needs to administration
• Ensure grounds, entrances, and walkways are clean, clear, and hazard-free
• Maintain and restock janitorial supplies and equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with school safety requirements
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, positive attitude
